November 16th

Growing up, my favorite books were the Baby-Sitter’s Club. I remember my mom came home with the original box set of four-Kristy’s Big Idea, Claudia and the Phantom Phone, The Truth About Stacey and Mary Anne Saves the Day. I had the chain letter book, the puzzle book, the VHS tapes, I had it all. I loved these girls and, quite embarrassingly, read the series until I was far too old.

(Note: I have three goals in life. To get something named after me, to visit all the countries in the world and to own all the BSC books.)

This week, I asked what everyone’s favorite children’s books were. There were plenty of great answers, classics like the Secret Garden, A Wrinkle in Time, Phantom Tollbooth and The Lion, Witch & Wardrobe , Nancy Drew, Roald Dahl and so many more!

A few books I had never heard of, like The Hollisters and Trixie Belden, made some people’s list. I’m excited to check these new-to-me books out. Maybe I’ll discover a new favorite! You can check everyone’s
