Marathon Training Day #24: Screw It

I slept badly last night. Work was exhausting today. In a good way, I’m feeling challenged creatively and working on a legitimately interesting project. But it feels like a lot sometimes. And tomorrow I have two or three hours to kill between work and a book launch. My solution? Slot my speed work in there and get to bed EARLY tonight.

Sleep is the best.

It shifts everything a bit: Friday will be yoga day, Saturday will be hill training (although it’s pubruns and I didn’t plan the route. I’ll figure it out). Sunday will be my long run. And the cycle will begin again.

I need a run that makes me love running and life in general soon. It’s been a while.
