This week was always meant to be a recovery week, and for that I’m grateful. My coach adjusted the original plan so I can get back on track as quickly as possible. Today is a rest day and I need it, my legs were lead when I woke up.
I only have three runs this week:
Tuesday: rest
Wednesday: 12k easy
Thursday: 8x400m repeats with 1.5min rest in between
Friday: rest
Saturday: yoga (not on the plan, but I’m adding it in)
Sunday: 16k long slow (10 and 1s)
Crazy, eh? A “recovery” week and I’m still running 12k and 16k.
