On Thursday, it was still slushy in the morning, so I made the call to TTC to work, but run home. Efficiency! I had an 8k tempo on my schedule, which means every km should be faster than the last.
Keeping track of your tempo is hard when you don’t have GPS or aren’t on a treadmill. But I did my best.
My knee also did this weird overextending thing when I ran too fast. That’s never happened before and it hurt a bit. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s something else to think about when I’m running.
