Last night was speedwork night. I normally do speedwork as my second workout of the week, but it got switched so I could meet my running coach at the Lulu Lemon running club tonight. (I’m scared.)
The plan was:
2k warm-up
3x1ks at 6:05-6:15 pace, 90 second cooldown in between
2k cool-down
These are the kind of workouts where a fancy watch would come in handy.
It was my dad’s last day in town, so I decided to run to my sister’s house so I could say good-bye to him. I mapped my route accordingly and picked 1k markers as best I could. Then I tried to run to each marker in 6 minutes. I think it worked.
