23 1/2 Hours

I know this video made the rounds in December, but it’s an absolute must-watch for everyone, whether you consider yourself sedentary or an athlete.

Dr. Mike Evans, the founder of the Health Design Lab at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, an associate professor at the University of Toronto, and a staff physician at St. Michael’s Hospital, points to the single thing that leads to overall health and happiness, no matter what ails you.

You guessed it: it’s exercise. And it’s not as hard as you think. Check out the video below!



I plan to take this to heart and try to incorporate 30 minutes of activity into my life, every single day. As an already active person, I want to take this to the next level, however, and plan to include 30 minutes of solid sweating into my daily routine. There’s 24 hours in each day. It’s totally doable.

And if it doesn’t work, I’ll just post this on my bathroom mirror and guilt myself into daily exercise:
